Heat recovery systems allow Baldocer to reduce energy consumption by 15%

12 September, 2024

With the goal of significantly reducing energy consumption and becoming a more sustainable company, Baldocer expands its heat recovery system, which allows the company to reduce energy costs by up to 15%.

The installation enables the reuse of residual heat generated in the furnances. Through a series of ducts, the hot air is propelled by a turbine to the dryers, which, using a temperature control system, inject the necessary amount to carry out their activity as efficiently as possible. This ensures that no energy is wasted in the process.

With the latest installed infrastructure, all of Baldocer’s active production lines now have their own heat recovery system, which, along with other initiatives like solar energy generation, helps improve the sustainability of the production process.
