In interior design, as in fashion, trends are cyclical. Even more so in an era in which trends are “rescued” from several decades ago and adapted to contemporary times. Hydraulic tiles are a good example of this phenomenon, since they are still used more than 150 years after their origin.<\/p>\n

Hydraulic ceramics emerged in the mid-19th century as a cheaper and more efficient alternative to producing tiles, as it could be obtained without the need to bake the pieces. Already 100 years ago, in the 1920s and 1930s, their popularity skyrocketed and they became a very common resource for their striking and characteristic designs. From here its use was declining until it became the ‘vintage’ fashion that is today.<\/p>\n

Today, white paste allows to perfectly imitate the designs of hydraulic ceramics in a cheaper way (as it does not require expensive artisan manufacturing) and with extraordinary strength.
